Programme of studies
This course consists of 100 English language classes of 45 minutes over the course of four weeks in the summer of 2012. It aims to develop and practise general and business English grammar and vocabulary at intermediate level, with special focus on all four language skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.
Social activities
There are planned extracurricular activities like visits to museums, outings, film club and sightseeing in Budapest. These activities are aimed at helping international students get better acquainted with the Hungarian culture and making the most of their stay in Hungary. In addition, there will be exciting excursions, twice a week to the most beautiful historic sites and treasures of nature in Hungary.
Accommodation, meals
• The IBS Residence Hall is located on campus. The double rooms have their own bathroom and unlimited Internet access.
• Full board is offered at the Residence Hall restaurant (packed lunch for excursions).

• Arrival: July 1, 2012
• Beginning of classes: July 2, 2012
• Departure: July 28, 2012
Course fees for 4 weeks
Registration fee (non-refundable): 50 EUR
Programme fee: 650 EUR
Accommodation fee: 375 EUR
Meals and social activities: 400 EUR
Total: 1475 EUR
The price covers all costs of the programme (accommodation, full board, entry tickets, travelling and learning materials). Applicants must be 18 years or over.
Deadline for application: June 29, 2012
If applicant cancels participation:
until June 3, the refund is 1425 EUR,
until June 17, the refund is 713 EUR,
after June 18, there is no refund.
If a non-EU citizen's visa application is refused for any reason, IBS refunds 1425 EUR.
