Being a private international university, IBS quickly adapts to the needs of a constantly changing inter­national market and modifies its academic programmes accordingly. In close co-opera­tion with our strategic partner in Oxford and other European partners we produce flexible and motivated business people who perform efficiently and think flexibly in the challenging environment of global business.

International environment

International experts, guest professors from abroad, and students from all over Europe, Central- and South America, Asia and Africa make IBS an attractive venue for cultural interaction and networking. Through our exchange programmes, IBS students can study in more than 80 partner institutions in over 20 European countries. They will be hosted by the best business schools in some of the most exciting cities of the world for at least one semester during their studies at IBS. Nearly 50 specially trained, “handpicked” language teachers at IBS guarantee that our students acquire the basic language skills as well as the highly specialised language of business, academic writing and negotiations.  

British degrees

Our students from Hungary and abroad study for Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees conferred by the prestigious Oxford Brookes University. These degrees will open up doors for IBS graduates in the labour markets of Great Britain, the European Union and the world at large.

Team work and skills development

The businessperson of the future will have to function both as a team leader and as a team member. For this reason, a significant part of professional practice is done in small study groups. This helps students to improve their abilities in communication, understand different viewpoints, and manage conflicts and master leadership. The development of personal skills and competencies has become the focus of business education worldwide as it has been for a long time at IBS.

Thrilling student life

IBS is not only a place for studying.  It is also home to several cultural and sports facilities. IBS Student Stage is a popular theatre open to the public as well as IBS students. The IBS Café and the campus garden are pleasant venues where students and teachers can relax. Those who wish to exercise not only their mind, but also their body can visit the IBS Fitness for work-out, aerobics, tennis, sauna solarium and massage.   

Residence Hall

A fully refurbished Residence Hall located right next to the school’s main building awaits our international students from abroad with well-equipped comfortable en suite rooms. All rooms (single or shared) have a spectacular park view and contain every modern amenity: bathroom, internet connection, TV, refrigerator, balcony and is obviously suitable for quiet studying as well.
