Dear Parents,

We do our best to provide all important information on our homepage regarding our programmes, the career prospects of our students, in short, everything we have achieved in co-operation with our students since IBS was founded in 1991.

Since the very beginning IBS formed close cooperation with the prestigious Oxford Brookes University, one of the leading modern universities of Great Britain. As a result, IBS students study in English on all Bachelor and Master programmes and upon graduation our students receive the BA or MSc degree of Oxford Brookes University that is globally accepted and appreciated. Our insitution not only has Hungarian and British state accreditation but EU accreditation as well. 

Apart from our academic offer listed under different titles on the website, let us mention some further important details that might be helpful to know for all parents.

Being a higher education institution with a relatively small number of students, we can pay special attention to each of them. Our education methodology focuses on problem-solving in small groups, so even the maths classes dreaded by many students are more or less 'playful' and give a sense of success to them.  

It does not fall into a category either that we treat our students as 'consumers' or 'clients'. Of course it is true for our quality service and attention to the students' problems, not for exam requirements or other expectations.

We consider higher education as a family investment and thus make all efforts to ensure that the energy - and financial investment - put in academic studies pay off as soon as possible for our placement students and graduates. According to the career path analyses of our graduates, we have good reason to claim that the years spent at IBS prove to be useful investment indeed. 

We invite you to look around on our homepage, get to know our academic offer and the sports and cultural facilities available on campus including IBS Fitness, the tennis courts, the Library and the Café which hosts all kinds of exhibitions and events. The latter is situated in our Residence Hall that accommodates IBS students in its single or shared en suite rooms. On its ground floor our restaurant hosts all kinds of high-quality events and next to it the canteen offers traditional, fitness, freshly-made and speciality dishes on its daily menu.
