The Career Office, which is a part of the Business Network Centre and is located in room 202, provides different career supporting services for IBS Students. At the same time the Career Office assists the Students during their years at IBS and beyond so that they can easily integrate themselves into the corporate world. IBS’ Business Network Centre and Career Office aims to continuously maintain, strengthen and further develop its corporate network, involve the business world into our education and get our students and faculty involved in the business world.
As an integral part of the educational programme, the placement year is a unique opportunity to gain real life work experience, professional development and very often job opportunities after graduation. One of our main goals at the Career Office is to assist Students in finding a placement position that meets their interests and where they can synthesise academics with practice.
According to a survey of the Business Network Center in 2009, 88% of IBS graduates found an employment within 6 months after graduation. Their average salary is 460,000 HUF with 76% of them in managerial positions. 90% of the graduates would choose IBS again for their studies, mainly for its practice- and skills-oriented, up-to-date education.
